weird, i just rode on one of these the other day. they are pretty quick.
Posted by shane j montgomery at May 14, 2006 02:58 AMSeems like a happy urban oasis trip.
Posted by Harlequinpan at May 14, 2006 04:25 AMHow does panning work sam? I don't have SLR, I use a sony dsc P200 compact, can I perform panning with it?
Posted by mohsen rasoulov at May 14, 2006 09:00 AMOK, this is a fun shot, but what's the deal with the hair? LOL.
This seems very different from what I 've seen from you in the past.
Posted by Laurie at May 14, 2006 09:53 AMCool picture. Looks like the Gator is missing a wheel.
Posted by John Blanton at May 14, 2006 10:09 AMWow! Cool photo, with its varying hues of green. But I like even more the feeling of speed and wind in the blurriness of the background, in the way the guy's hair is blowing back, but most of all in the way the cart stands out from the background. Amazing!!!
Posted by talk talk talk at May 14, 2006 10:23 AMJohn has some interesting hair.
Posted by sigma at May 14, 2006 10:29 AMwhooowo! Awesome dynamics in this capture! gives great sensation of speed. Very cool!
Posted by p a s c i . i t at May 14, 2006 11:00 AMNice one...
Posted by Varenya at May 14, 2006 11:19 AMseems you finally got your favourite 10-22!
i like your panninglytakenpictures!
wow, very good!
Posted by Rui at May 14, 2006 01:58 PMI was practicing my panning this morning! I still find it difficult to master.
Posted by micki at May 14, 2006 03:04 PMcool shot, looks like a "what happened next" shot. perhaps the rest of the wheels fall off or the guys blue wig takes off....
Posted by Mark Ellis. UK at May 14, 2006 03:59 PMNice panning shot. Seems to show the speed of the Gator, mind you I don't think they go all that fast. Probably has the pedal the the metal. :)
Posted by Andrew at May 14, 2006 05:23 PMI really like the colors in some of your images. Vibrant, but not totally unnatural. Any tips on color correction with the cannon?
Posted by michael at May 14, 2006 07:32 PMcrappy.. even i can do better,
Posted by tee at May 14, 2006 08:18 PMAlways amazing work from you Sam!
I was going to post this question in the forum, but I wasn't quite sure where to do so... so here I am disobeying and asking in the comments instead :D
Why is John's hair blue???
Posted by fragileheart at May 15, 2006 12:27 AMTip on panning - keep the camera as stable as possible and rotate your body from the waist.
Posted by dack at May 15, 2006 01:59 AMthis is weird, i have that EXACT SAME rainbow + black jacket.
im not diggin the blue hair though, it looks very photochopped to me?? sorry if im wrong
hahaha surreal. I love it
Posted by rollinger at May 15, 2006 05:24 AMThis is a great shot. And while John's blue hair is eye-catching, I believe the driver's hair also merits some attention. I mean seriously: look at that mane!!
Posted by Steve at May 15, 2006 09:52 AMWell, this looks like fun! And that blue hair! Crazy!
Posted by cathy at May 15, 2006 10:51 AMNice panning as always, Sam. Fun shot!
