Wow!
Spectacular!
One of your best. No kidding.
Posted by Archagon at April 26, 2006 02:43 AMRemarkable composition. The wall is forever and some women, too. But that tree ? No chance.
Posted by AG at April 26, 2006 04:23 AMA simple and elegant composition. The white pavement, wall, and shirt add up nicely.
Posted by Apurv at April 26, 2006 04:27 AMGreat composition!
Posted by Nicola at April 26, 2006 07:37 AMI really like the tilted capture and the tree adds a great effect. I even love the desaturated feel, but the woman being blurry seems to be to much contrast whith everything else being in sharp focus. That being said, this is a great photo with strong elements, maybe it just doesn't fit me.
Posted by Benjamin Riley at April 26, 2006 09:14 AMI really like this photo. The simplicity and action go so well together. Great shot.
Posted by faustina at April 26, 2006 09:33 AMSimple, but so rich.
Your photo let me think about the architecture of
Japan archtect Tadao Ando.
It is so pure, even no shadow.I love it very much.
Fantastic artwork,Thank you Sam.
A simple but effective picture constructed primarily by lines. i like it a lot. :)

Posted by برعکس تو at April 26, 2006 11:56 AMNice shot, I like the slant of the road.
Posted by Matthew Greco at April 26, 2006 12:14 PMVoted!
And nice photo :D
Posted by mel at April 26, 2006 12:52 PMSame or similar pic with the tree in full leaf will be an interesting contrast.
Posted by Waxman at April 26, 2006 01:20 PMYou fell into at least 4 categories for the Photobloggies nominations! I hope a lot of people vote for you. Good luck :D
Posted by Jill at April 26, 2006 02:16 PMI like how the entire image is so stark cold feeling, then the brown purse pops in. The woman in motion definately adds an opposite feeling to the image.
Posted by Steve LLamb at April 26, 2006 04:23 PMbeautiful picture! there's something intriguing about it.
that lady looks like sandra bullock, by the way.
Posted by stephanie at April 26, 2006 04:28 PMExcellent idea and execution. Brilliant shot!
Posted by Tomasz at April 26, 2006 04:31 PMWaiting for Becket.
Posted by Louis at April 26, 2006 04:48 PMA wonderful catch, everything timed out perfectly. Nice photo!
Posted by micki at April 26, 2006 05:04 PMThe lack of colour really adds much to the image, especially as the tree is yet to bloom. Nicely composed (as always) too.
Posted by ROB at April 26, 2006 05:16 PMsuch a simple shot but its soooo goood!
I love the way the tree stands out while the woman kinda blurs into the surroundings! you know some people would probably get some sort of a metaphore from that!
Posted by JD at April 26, 2006 05:35 PMInteresting composition: Vast Mondrian wall, sloped sidewalk, vertical tree, woman talking against hurricane-force winds.
Posted by Kevin at April 26, 2006 05:54 PMWhen I look at this I think of the commercial for
"Winners" ooh la la.
Always a treat to come to the site.
Technically, a great shot !!!

Posted by Naning at April 26, 2006 11:40 PMexcllent work
end of photography bravo same
karetoon harf nadareh
now, i generally like your stuff. but this is so plain that it makes me grate my teeth. there is no life here. even that woman, although she is moving, is unreal, untouchable, vacant. what happened to you? what about taking pictures like that funky door in new york? and that cool fridge, with so much color, personality, vitality? this is too abstract.
Posted by raluca at April 29, 2006 06:35 PMSo grey - I like it! This looks like a scene from Seinfeld from the last 90's.
