Your view of the world is different from public. I like it .

it gives me the creeps.

Great capture, nice color tone, so natural.

Sure is a strange scene, I think it wants to be unwrapped now by the look of the growth through the wrapping.

Think I would have preferred to see the base of the pot too, but thats just me.

It looks to me like the figure of a woman hunched over from carrying a very heavy load. I thought this was a sculpture at first. :-)

Are Christo and Jeanne-Claude in Toronto this week?

I like the different textures, nice picture.

Wonderful bonsai! Great contrasting textures.
Here's a title for you: "Life in Bondage."

A mummified tree!

I prefer it wrapped... seems more like art...

This holds great details and contrast, its really warming yet dark...

Probably one of my favourites of yours :)
Not too sure about the composition/crop tho, kinda wish you'd got the bottom of the pot in there or maybe just left the whole of it out???
Do you mind people giving their personnel preferences like this?? I just know some people don't?

I must say that wrapped it looks more interesting that unwrapped, interesting in the weird sort of way

me parece increible el cambio.....el macetero parece estar muerto y en la otra lleno de vida, primaveral.

Fantastic. I love this - this plant looks much better wrapped: the jute fabric, the contrast, and the colour all work unexpectedly well. Compliments.

Cool pics and site for that matter. What kind of camera do you use?

Posted by Roy at April 18, 2006 03:23 PM

Looks like a sculpture - no wonder it caught your eye. The texture of the burlap with the strings criss-crossing it is really great. Nice plant!

Nice use of toning to keep this a simple shot focusing on shape.

Whats with the sponsorship? Did I miss some day's comment about it or was it just slipped in? Some may say your 'selling out' and ads on a photoblog kind of ruin the free nature fun a bit, but hey you need to pay the bandwidth bills and at least it is barely noticable/photo related... ;)

not crazy about this one. but it's a great example that life will find a way, humans cant stop anything, we flatter ourselves by thinking that we are destroying life on this planet. after we are gone it will rebound with a whole new breed of species.

Look werid and creepy, it seems like it is a mummy

I'm especially attracted to the great textures and light on the fabric. Great stuff.

I like this a lot, Sam! Such great texture and detail. I like the contrast and the sharpness very much. This is very interesting!

Is it the public art of Cristo?
Next time I want to buy same style clothes,
my body is same shape.
