Beautiful shot! Love the angle. The color and light are perfect.

Fantastic! What a great catch of the sunlight reflections!

I've spent too much time looking at wide angle lenses... I just hate the idea of spending $1,000 CDN on a lens I won't be able to use on a 35mm film body, or a full crop factor digital SLR one day. So then I look at the CANON EF 20MM 2.8 USM LENS but wonder if 20mm is wide 'enough' on my current 10D... decisions, decisions (and then I realize I have no money for a new lens, and should focus on taking better pictures with what I have.)

You didn't put what focal length you used. I'm wondering if the image is this strait at 10mm or were you at a higher focal length. Very clean though, as expected.

That is a simply stunning shot - it looks almost computer generated.

That's my office building! It doesn't look this good inside believe me.

Sharp and wide. Great use of the Lens. the Reflections are nice...it's been sunny lately in the region. Can't complain!

That street is far more dingy and narrow in real life. You manage to make it seem so light and broad. Or maybe I need to take another look. Great shot.

Fantastic shot... me gustan mucho las sombras en la acera y el uso del gran angular

Great shot! I've been looking at this lens myself and wondered how it performed. Looks great!

wow, when the page loaded I totally didnt expect this super wide image. I thought it was going to end around the cars. Very nice shot. I love architecture shots and this nice wide view of the street plus building is perfect.

Nicely broken architechtural facads and pictured at a maximum dramatic moment in the right way.

Walking that space must feel magical at a moment of that kind of light.

Very beautiful Shot as usual, with something sureal.

Great - absolutely fantastic perspective and leading lines here! I like the dark corner in the upper left, too.

It was bad enough that, after seeing your work with the 70-200 and 17-40, I went out and bought those lenses. Now Sam, don't get me interested in another lens, please. ;-)

Posted by Abe at April 13, 2006 02:59 AM

Awesome. It reminds me of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean video :)

Posted by kikko77 at April 13, 2006 05:58 AM

wow! great picture! how did you get the light and shadows in the shot? What type of cmaera did you use? Are you a professional photog?

Posted by philip at April 14, 2006 01:02 AM

Wow, Sam! The contrast in colors is phenomenal as always.
