Stupendi punto di vista e composizione.
I giochi di luce amplificano ed evidenziano la struttura.
Grande foto.
great work; it's really important to move projects forward that explore toronto's identity; it's one of the great unplumbed depths of contemporary cities; but you know, you should start taking photographs of people ... toronto is a city full of extraordinary faces ... they need to be documented! thanks for the daily dose;
Posted by cc omadagain at April 5, 2006 03:21 AMOnce again a great shot with wonderful perspective

Posted by Chantal at April 5, 2006 06:37 AMHi.
I've been visiting your photo-blog for over a month now. lovely pictures. stored all of them. Quite a few managed to retain the wallpaper status for a few days :)
One thundering doubt though - have you (the author) clicked all the photos posted here ? Or are you posting those you like along with your own work ?
This looks like a prison (maybe I've been watching too much of prison break recently)... suppose thats quite ironic given the freedom of the art!
Posted by JD at April 5, 2006 07:20 AMOne place in Ottawa where the building is really interesting, and the contents are not.
Posted by dan culberson at April 5, 2006 07:57 AMI like the off-centre symmetry.
Posted by Sean Galbraith at April 5, 2006 10:08 AMGreat shot of a beautiful building Sam. Well done!
Posted by Dave MacIntyre at April 5, 2006 10:09 AMGreat photo, congrats on a great site that I visit daily. Just would like to point out there's an error in the html of the page: title=="gallery interior || canon350d/ef17-40L@17 | 1/100s | f7.1 | iso200 | P | handheld" The double equals is preventing me from seeing the photo information.
Posted by Sean at April 5, 2006 10:19 AMI like it a lot! The usual tooltip with the shot info isn't working, though.
Posted by Eric at April 5, 2006 10:19 AMGreat lines. I really like it.
Posted by skateboard showroom at April 5, 2006 01:19 PMLove the lines in this shot. Keep up the great work.

Posted by andrea at April 6, 2006 12:45 PMi second sudi's comment about seeing it in colour. Having grown up in ottawa, i can just imagine the warm stone tones acting with the brilliant light coming in through the skylights. Seems so cold otherwise. And sorry dan, i disagree: there's plenty of intersting stuff within the gallery walls aside from moshe safdie's brilliant architecture.
Posted by marco at April 6, 2006 05:50 PMi tried taking this shot when i was at the gallery in december. it's such a beautiful building. was this photo stitched together?
Posted by grace at April 7, 2006 09:32 AMStunning scene - excellent composition, and great choice on the desaturation. This is excellent.
