Love it, as always.
How do you capture that ray of light coming through the roof?

Your pictures has been an inspiration, and has made me put up my own photoblog.

Keep up the good work!!

I'm always receptive to industrial architecture pictures. This one is a great one, mainly because of this ray of light crossing the frame... Congrats!

common.
why?I don`t know.

I love the shaft of light coming through the shot. Very nice.

What a great way of capturing the light bundle from the left

Posted by Chantal at March 17, 2006 07:19 AM

Nice lighting and composition. I really need to find me an abandoned factory like this!

Posted by Joe at March 17, 2006 07:40 AM

Spectacular. Wow, it really must have been ark in there...

your black and white brickworks photos are my favorites. thanks for taking them!

Really great light and scenery. Even if I'm not a fan of the framing (i would loved more space on the left) I really like the relationship between left and right. Great one!

Posted by Laurent at March 17, 2006 08:46 AM

beautiful. . . words cannot express

Posted by Teleios at March 17, 2006 10:12 AM

I love the shaft of light -- a great way to convey vastness of space.

Posted by Ryan at March 17, 2006 10:34 AM

There are so many elements in this shot that I do like, the sunray, Q signs, framing, etc; very well captured!

I love this photograph. The beam of light, those four bright windows at the back, the question marks and that really bright thing under the question marks. Cool

Great shot...this location has such a sinister feel to it. I want to visit and shoot the area myself.

Posted by Dave MacIntyre at March 17, 2006 12:21 PM

wonderful lighting, perpective and mono tone.

Posted by Pooriya at March 17, 2006 01:45 PM

Great light, great tonality!

Posted by jbuhler at March 17, 2006 02:23 PM

you must really like this kind of "ray-of-light" pictures :)
which, btw, you capture wonderfully.
Very nice shoot.
Have to try it myself some other time.

Posted by ohcaptain at March 17, 2006 02:55 PM

nice, but I wonder if our trip to the brickworks has overstayed its welcome?

Posted by jb at March 17, 2006 04:16 PM

The ray of light shooting in is just amazing. I like the question marks on right side too.

Posted by noushin at March 17, 2006 04:19 PM

fantastico!

As noted by nearly everyone, great composition and location. It looks as though after photographing the large perspectives of the room, you could spend days looking at particular objects in different ways.

one day i hope to visit toronto and go here, there is no place like this around me in san diego, ca

Posted by shane j montgomery at March 19, 2006 02:14 PM

There have been many underground raves in that place. Try to picture wall to wall projections of psychadelic music visualizations, and dirty hippy- type kids.

It is indeed a strange place to be in at night as it is.

Nice emphasis on the space.

Posted by Ioana at March 20, 2006 02:00 PM

Wow... such a wide angle, but with undistorted lines. Beautiful.

Posted by MikesRightBrain at March 21, 2006 07:37 AM

That shaft of light is amazing. It's barren but oddly inviting at the same time :)

Posted by ryan at March 22, 2006 04:51 PM

wow, great location and great photo

Posted by Stephan at March 23, 2006 03:57 PM

I like your tagline for this shot, and the slight hint of a sepia-like tone works well here. Really cool composition and lighting!

Posted by Abe at March 24, 2006 01:08 PM

i love this pic of urs! its such a neat composition!

Posted by Ish at March 25, 2006 11:17 PM
