some of your recent pictures are starting to make me think of DC, especially this one, which looks like the adams morgan neighborhood.

AH. another beauty. Did you intend to line up the three "polls" this way? The Kensington Market poll (appears the talest), the CN tower and then the power poll on the left hand side...
they seem to be going from Tallest to Smallest.... did you intend that sam?
Interesting!

Cool shot. Love the light and the wide angle and all the iconic elements in it.

Reminds me of London [apart from the CN tower!]great shot Sam.

I like this shot too. Nice colour and lightning, I also like the diagonal effet in the composition.

Beautiful! I used to walk by there so often but never seen saw such a beautiful place until now. :)

Posted by gck at March 14, 2006 11:54 AM

If you walk down the road a ways and then make a right when you see the really big and yellow Chinese restaurant, you will find a Jewish Synogogue built in the very early 1900's. It's really cool; you should check it out!

P.S Nice picture Sam!

You made such a mundane image fanatastic. Great shot...

I am new to your site, but am loving what I see. You have perfect talent!

really great shot, i like the lighting on the other side of the street.
plus the idea of traffic in the middle of a beautiful street is ironically nice

These are the shots I like best on your blog. Wide, all-inclusive street scenes are hard to get striking photos from (IMO, anyway) but you manage it really well.

nice

Posted by Tbone at March 14, 2006 10:11 PM

wow you're getting really subtle, i didn't notice the CN tower being parallel to the Kensington pole! nice shot! i like the sky and the trafic jam reminds me of my morning drive...

I really enjoy this composition, the sense of life in action, and the wonderful colors. Excellent!

Pronounced colour 'banding' on your sky, also noticed this on the 'jet over don valley' pic. can u fix it? otherwise great shots.

I love this picture. I've visited Toronto and have walked up and down Spadina, but this is such a unique perspective. It makes me want to come back for a visit.
