great comp. nice colors.

Again the polarizer has been used to great effect. The reverse perspective accentuates the tallness of the buildings. Refreshing!

Posted by PlasticTV at March 9, 2006 03:34 AM

Interesting shot. I thought maybe I had a touch of vertigo but in reverse for a moment. Nice one.

Posted by garyx at March 9, 2006 03:43 AM

very good picture it makes me feel sick in a vertigo sort of way.

Posted by Vanella Mead at March 9, 2006 04:06 AM

i really like the hues - cool post processing! nice idea of flipping it too.

Posted by olya at March 9, 2006 07:07 AM

Awesome and unreal angle. CREATIVE!!!

Posted by Chantal at March 9, 2006 07:08 AM

I like the gradient and lighting in this. Very nice polarized sky and lines, too. I think what I like best of all is the color balance - it is incredibly beautiful!

Posted by Abe at March 9, 2006 07:11 AM

Whoa! You don;t see that perspective very often. Unique and beautiful!

Posted by floridora at March 9, 2006 07:30 AM

It's interesting how our world looks like when we change our point of view. Upside down is not necessarily a problem. It is sometimes beautiful.

Nice photo Sam.

Posted by -= Moussa =- at March 9, 2006 07:42 AM

beautiful shot! i love the lines of the building, very dramatic.

the perspective of the shot also adds to the drama, and i like how the sky is a gradation of colour as you move down the picture.

i don't know the first thing about photography, but i think this picture's great.

Posted by CET at March 9, 2006 07:45 AM

Brilliant shot - a bit dizzying!

Posted by AndyM at March 9, 2006 08:25 AM

makes me kind of dizzy, I like the colors the angle and the reflection on the building.

Posted by Tasos at March 9, 2006 08:42 AM

Great shot. I love the angle and the gradation of the sky.

Posted by Tim at March 9, 2006 08:44 AM

What an interesting tilt you've got here. As it unloaded I thought: what an interesting ceiling, and thought it maybe another view of the brick factory.

How and where to look from - a huge secret of intersting work sometimes.

I like it.

Posted by Hugh Petrie at March 9, 2006 08:46 AM

Amazing perspective! It makes me dizzy if I look at it too long! :o)

So disorienting! How did you manage to stand still while taking this photo? I just about fell off my chair...

Posted by Eli Singer at March 9, 2006 09:47 AM

Did you play with the color in photoshop on this one? I love the colors.

Posted by Mark Dowd at March 9, 2006 09:57 AM

woah...this makes me dizzy...great pic :)

Posted by mel at March 9, 2006 10:35 AM

It's not just the perspective that draws me into this photo. You also did a great job with the colours. It seems so surreal.

Posted by David Warren at March 9, 2006 11:03 AM

That makes me dizzy. I like it!

Posted by ceh at March 9, 2006 11:05 AM

Classic DDOI shot. I've always loved how you keep the perspective interesting when shooting straight up the side of a building. By putting the buildings at the top of the picture it makes your brain pause and consider the pic for a sec while mentally aligning the image.

Posted by Graham at March 9, 2006 11:22 AM

you're getting back on track sam. this is really cool like the latest photos posted here.

i'd like to see a tutorial about that shot and/or sharpening in general.

Posted by moritz at March 9, 2006 11:24 AM

Wow! This is making me dizzy!! Did you fall over after taking it?

Posted by Jodi at March 9, 2006 11:47 AM

The colours in this photo are stricking! I love the upside down view. Nice one!

Posted by Daniel Seguin at March 9, 2006 12:06 PM

Cool picture, but I think that I might like it more if it was the right way instead of upside down!

Posted by Mike at March 9, 2006 12:37 PM

~nice capture~
this is a 'perfectly fine' angle yet the rarest i'd say.. imagining: if i were ever to see this in real life - i'd definitely turn around n look at the scene bottom to top n so - i really was trying to tilt my head n look at this image to see it just that way :P
ur trick works n its awesome i should say !!

Posted by prasoon at March 9, 2006 01:39 PM

Great composition and colours!

One word: AMAZING!

Posted by NoLabels at March 11, 2006 03:53 PM

For some reason, this photo made me nautious. It is not a bad photo, but the perspective and angle it was taken it different. It is a fast rising photo, I like it, but it initially threw my stomach for a loop.

Posted by Tara at March 11, 2006 03:59 PM

Very nice photo indeed! Congratulations!
