Hi ! I'm impressed and really like those timelapse video !
I just have a problem with this last one : I have Flash 8 but just see a mosaic, I don't see a video, a movement or a button to start playing... is it normal ?

Nevermind! Fallowed the links and found this tech info!

The Flash isn't working for me, Sam. It only displays the mosaic. I'm assuming it's supposed to actually play something. ;) (Yes, I have Flash 8 and all)

wow. that's really amazing.

Interesting experiment. Great choice of using the BMO building to set the night scene.

Sam, this is a really interesting and creative concept, and you pulled it off very well.

My favourite detail is the person that we see mulling around (after the sun goes down, and the lights go on in the building).

I'd love to see the video version a little larger :)

Cheers, Jerrold

This isn't the BMO building, it's one of the towers flanking the Eaton's Centre. These windows are rectangular, but lie in a vertical position, while the windows on the BMO building are also rectangular, but lie in a horizontal position.

Very *CREATIVE*!!!

Nice one Sam, I remember before I even had my own site excitedly watching the time lapse videos you had on here. They're always fun to watch.

I was confused by the first picture post, but once I saw the video it made sense ;) I really like this!

how do you do time-lapse with the 350d? this is great.

Posted by Javan at February 24, 2006 02:29 PM

Very cool. Couldn't figure out at first what i was looking at until the windows lit up at night.

I had no problem viewing the video on OS 10.4.

That's really cool, I like how the lights inside the building seem to fade in

This reminds of Koyaanisqatsi (1983)

Does the FLV player and skin you are using come with Flash 8 or is it third party? I have been looking for a player which would allow for narrow, borderless movies without losing half the controls due to the width of the player.

I love this - shows nature overwhelming us people like ants.

Ah, that's better. Amazing! Amazing!

Super-super! I couldn't do it. I'm too worried about my shutter's wear down :D

Hey dude! A really well-done piece! I especially like the last part when the people start moving around inside!
