Nice colors with the yellow backround and bike. Strangely, they work very well together. Also, the shadow that the bike throws is very cool.
Posted by Matthew Greco at January 29, 2006 01:36 AMthere are too many bike pictures on this site
otherwise, great work!
Posted by tj at January 29, 2006 01:39 AMlike the yellows and the black of the shadow on the wall. we're having some warm weather in minnesota too.
Posted by mike wbl at January 29, 2006 01:58 AMI think the little details really make this picture: the crate on the back, the pink flower, the strong shadow on the wall... It would be a nice picture with just the bright yellow, but the rest makes you linger on the image a bit longer.
Posted by Tommy at January 29, 2006 02:06 AMGreat color and contrast. There really is nothing better than bright natural lighting.
Posted by Ahamed at January 29, 2006 02:36 AMChange the blog to Miami and I'd believe it with this sunny yellow! It's warmer here than in Toronto it seems!
Posted by Eric at Paris Daily Photo at January 29, 2006 04:04 AMNice solid shadows.
Cool shot Sam.
That bike looks like it is in its' natural habitat. Nice shadows, colour, and capture.
Posted by joel at January 29, 2006 08:21 AMWhat a great photograph to capture at the end of January in these latitudes! It just cries, "Spring is on the cusp." The garish blossom attached to the handlebars contrasted against the intense-yellow wall creates a delightfully zany focal point. The tangle of dark shadows suggests January and her quirks still lurk though.
Posted by Anne Gautreau at January 29, 2006 09:47 AMgreat yellow back and nice composition.
perfect playing with shadows.
I really like the color of the bike itself...that burnt orange is kind of rare...looks good against the yellow. Great winter shadows, too.
Posted by matt at January 29, 2006 10:23 AMI love the colors and light/shadow play in this shot.

Posted by Phil at January 30, 2006 04:54 PMGreat contrast in every way to the previous days photo. This photo - totally grounded in the mundane beauty of the everyday vs. yesterday - spectral, fiendish, and malevolent.
