nice shot !
Posted by Easa at January 22, 2006 03:16 AMPerfect street scene. Busy, full and well lit while remaining balanced. Nice work.
Posted by Ahamed at January 22, 2006 04:10 AMGreat shot, I like the way you've composed it, I do like the tones and colouring as well, very clean.
Posted by mohsen rasoulov at January 22, 2006 05:58 AMhah, was thinking "FIRST!" but thats just wrong. for some reason i've always like powercords in photography, they add so much.. some feeling to it.
Posted by tomas at January 22, 2006 07:03 AMOnly been there once, but what a place! Nice to see a shot of this little market. Cool stuff!
Posted by Dan :: genestho.ca at January 22, 2006 08:38 AMHey Sam,
I was in Kesington yesterday! Great day for people watching.
Keep up the great work. Your photography is very inspiring and I'm trying to learn as much as possible from your example.
Thanks so much!

No bike. No birds. Did Sam take this one?
Posted by Kevin at January 22, 2006 10:35 AMThis corner has great colours, so old world looking, too bad about the Canada Trust sign stuck in the middle of it all. Great shot. Keep shooting.
Posted by Bob Munday at January 22, 2006 11:03 AMvery intrging indeed! It seems like I'm just somebody who observers but in the following moment I'm just strolling next to all these Torontonians (even if that's a word?)
great image, keep up the good work!
cheers
love this pic ...my old neighbourhood.
quite a difference from where i am today ...pei
weirdest january in south western ontario ever. shouldn't we be absolutely covered in snow right about now?
Posted by schmee at January 22, 2006 12:22 PMMona Lisa, while holding some fresh produce herself, seems to be glancing down at the street activity. Great shot.
Posted by Herb at January 22, 2006 01:53 PMA simple observation. It looks like a nice local area.
Posted by Phil at January 22, 2006 02:56 PMVery Inspiring... :-)I luv this part of the city...
Posted by Shadan at January 22, 2006 07:20 PMI love DDOI, but I confess I'm getting kind of bored with some of the locations you typically shoot at - Distillery, Kensington Market, Eatons Centre, downtown. How about some shots of the PATH, the Skydome, Casa Loma, Queen East, the Necropolis, Danforth, Roncesvalles, Koreatown, College W., U of T, Yorkville, etc.? Toronto's got so much going on, but you wouldn't know it from (most of) your repetoire.
Posted by Meredith at January 22, 2006 07:35 PMLove your blog, I check it out every day. These past few days' shots have been great! Keep up the good work.
If you forget the Canada trust and the cars on the "wrong" side of the street, it could be in London!
Posted by geneline at January 23, 2006 12:02 AMyour slow shutter speed is surprising. im wondering if you steadied the camera on an object or not. the subject matter is simple, and you make it look great. kudos.
Posted by Jesse at January 23, 2006 09:13 AMSo many rich and vibrant colors here, as well as very natural, day-to-day life. Another good shot!
