As usually : so sharp !!! (I never succeed in)
I love the colors. Really nice shot.
Bien amicalement,
Y.
count me in for that "in transit" exhibition...
Can't wait to be there again.
Toronto rules!!
Thanks Sam
Posted by nicolas at January 18, 2006 04:00 AMGreat sighting! ;-)
This is a nice foto; rich colors everywhere. I especially like the graffiti, and the people, who are barely visible inside.
Posted by Abe at January 18, 2006 04:33 AMWhile creative, aren't these lepo stickers another form of vandalism?
Posted by Ed at January 18, 2006 07:43 AMWow, what an interesting marketing campaign...
Posted by Dan :: genestho.ca at January 18, 2006 09:07 AMGood shot, maybe a mistake in the EXIF, how could a 17-40 open at f/2.2 ? Maybe you'd got a limited edition of this lens ? :-) Love your site. Keep goin' :-)
Posted by Jay at January 18, 2006 09:54 AMInteresting shot. This isn't one of those "urban" marketing campaigns by Sony or someone for a new video game?
Posted by Andy at January 18, 2006 10:09 AMthe colours are so strong, and very crisp, good job
Posted by Gerry at January 18, 2006 10:18 AMWhat a totally ugly tile wall.
And what or who is lepos? Never heard of it. The first 2 pages of the site reference surely don't explain anything.
The food baskets remind me I've not had breakfast yet.
Decrepit moments in Toronto the good.
Sort of amusing.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at January 18, 2006 11:40 AMThe lepos haven't made it over to the west coast yet :( Great to see ephemeral urban art though, even from afar :)
Posted by green LA girl at January 18, 2006 01:49 PMI love stuff like this. Random universal graffiti/art. I wonder who is behind it all.
Posted by Phil at January 18, 2006 01:54 PMI'm another viewer who has no idea what "lepos" is !!!
Still, a fine view of street life.
Lepos is so cool! You found him!!
Posted by Rosh at January 18, 2006 04:51 PMSo I guess you're voting for Ianno?
Posted by Soloman at January 18, 2006 05:33 PMhugely occupied shot..
Posted by prasoon at January 18, 2006 05:59 PMNeat. Your photography really makes Totonto seem like another world. Thanks for the link to lepos. I checked out some neat animations.

who are these mysterious ppl doing this!? humourous indeed.
Posted by Julia at January 18, 2006 10:00 PMNo Lepos sightings in Paris yet, but a very clever marketing idea. At first I wasn't sure where this photo was taken...could have been Paris (green garbage bin, fruit market)!
Posted by Eric at Paris Daily Photo at January 19, 2006 12:36 AMGreat shot of LEPOS. You must have done it and you did.
Thanks to you I looked for Lepos everywhere and I really liked the idea of how they are created. Unfortunately here in UK things will arrive a century late, so I have asked all my friends in Toronto to buy me a copy.
It was a bit strange those people couldn't find who the LEPOS are, despite the good links. Maybe they're not interested in comic kind of stuff.
I hope you will have an act on LEPOS anims and games.
I'll wait for it....
Another fabulous shot! So much for the eye to discover and I love the muted yet rich earthy colours as well!
In response to the vandalism comment posted earlier: I disagree wholeheartedly that this type of art is vandalism. It adds a great deal of character to the city in my opinion and offers so many great opportunities for photographers. Bansky's painted stencils in the UK might be perceived more as vandalism, although he is now accepted by many as a fantastic artist! Smashed bus shelters and toppled gravestones....that's vandalism.
Posted by D MacIntyre at January 20, 2006 09:55 AMi love all the produce...
Posted by k at January 20, 2006 10:29 PMAt the first glance I thought it was Kermit as an astronaut. I watch out for Lepos from now on, he's so cute ;-)
Posted by Verena at January 21, 2006 06:22 PMYes i have seen the lepos. I have a picture, if you like i can show you, its on my photoblog.
