Comments: winter morning and eq3

I think I remember this intersection from one of your other fotos (red jacket - jan 19, '05 -- I just scrolled through your archives and I think this is the same place). I found that foto quite amazing, as I do this one. The "EQ3" all over this foto pulls everything together, and I like the fact that the dof is deep, which makes the scene true to life. Also, great colors. Great shot, Sam!

Now I'm going to add my vote in all of the other available categories.

Love the repeated verticals and reds in the shot, perhaps a very busy shot but works well with the repeats.

I like how there is so much happening in this photo but it is not too messy. Nice colours and composition. Well done. I wonder what they are fixing(?)

I really like city scenes like this. It is real. It is dynamic. Great shot.

Early morning light, like late afternoon at this time of year is very dramatic in its contrast. Easy to see why you shot in this direction. The orange sticks out so. But the thing that this image shows me is just how jumbled our cities can be for all the posts, signs, wires and whatnot. It doesn't make for an attractive life setting.

It makes me think of the many days my surroundings have left me depressed at their inescapability.

Damn, but you show it well!

Right, listen to me now... You need to start doing some international exhibitions with this stuff. You're amazing. You should be selling prints of these for thousands.
