It's really nice reflection, Sam. The first time I saw this photo via my feed, I thought you're using 'fish eye lense' ;)

These light fittings are great for taking abstract wide shots.

Reminds me of MC Escher

I love it, nice tones, nice composition, cool stuff, inside vs. outside, and of course those people looking in the window.

Our whole family has continued to love your site again this year. Best wishes for the new one, we'll still be watching.

Hey...are you cheating? Didn't you post this last year? or something like it?
Tell your friend to say "Cheeze" next time.
Cheers and Merry Christmas.

Cool. I remember a similar photo last year, but i couldn't find it in the archives.

Now that's an interesting way to photograph the inside of a lamp store - from outside the store.

I'm beginning to think you will be the best informed Torontonian when it comes to what's in the city. You'll certainly have a gallery of it's more interesting quirks.

Funny how a few folks haven't recognized your reflection on the lamp too.

This first looked like a glass Christmas tree decoration - certainly similar in its reflective nature.

Speaking of which, a very Merry Christmas to you and May the new year be a huge photo snap of successes.

Holy cow I find this photo so very beautiful in a most unexpected way.

Posted by empressofdirt at December 23, 2005 06:22 PM

Neat self-portrait. It reminds me of a certain early 1970s Woody Allen/Diane Keaton movie, a futuristic dystopia.
