Hi Sam, I like drink coffee, of course I love Starbucks. At the other side, I live in Indonesia and as a tropical country I never experience the snow-thingy. This photo has succesfully brought me to the experience that you have.

"It's really nice having a cup of hot cappucino/carramel machiato inside that store"

Man, i've been watching you're site now for about a week, and you're photos blow me away.

The quality of the photos, i mean, like the colour and everything, so vivid. Makes me want to by a Rebel.

Love the fog in the windows, makes the shot for me. It's funny, I too posted a shot of a coffee shop today... Guess that's the feeling all the snow unconsciously gave us. ;) Nice photo.

Because this city is nothing without its Starbucks... ;)

Great shot!

Y'know, they just opened up another starbucks.

This time, it's in my living room.

Beautiful composition. The lights inside the SB Coffee nice captured!

I have hard time seeing anyone in there, was this after hours? Steam on the windows make it look so cool.

This is a great image: the snow sets of the rich, dark wood and the photographer himself might have arranged the trash for artistic effect (not that I am accusing him of doing so). But the extra something is the steam on the windows, promising a warm haven against the cold. I makes me ask "What time do they open?"

You seem to have a thing about colorful garbage. It is an overwhelming topic.

As to Starbucks. The frosty windows make it enticing but I hate their coffee. Bad bitter burned beans is all people seem to go for - no taste.

This picture gives me a Christmas-eve-no-shop-is-open-nobody-in-the-streets feeling. You could almost hear some carols in the distance...

Sam, just had to say that I absolutely adore this shot. I mean, all your stuff is brilliant, but this one struck a chord, because I often find myself running to a Starbucks when the snow hits and I'm stuck downtown. The steam on the windows is an amazing touch. Awesome, as usual Sam.

I live in Toronto and see scenes like this daily and yet I would have this one as a print on my wall. And it's not because I am addicted to Starbucks either :)
Great atmosphere, great shot! Thank you.

cool pic...great colors in the front...makes me want some coffee

As a Torontonian living far far from home in Korea, pictures like this remind me of back home. I love the colours of the newspaper boxes in this shot. Something I didn't really notice when I used to stand on the corner waiting for the streetcar but now really speak of Toronto to me. Thanks.

I love those steamy windows and gloomy mood that again has a very nice story behind it.

"It's freezing outside and I had nothing to eat for couple of days. These tight people don't leave nothing in their garbages.
Ah, look at all those boxes there. There must be something I can find.
What a weird place! Look at those steamy windows. Where is this place? Nah, another bloody starbox. It's not worth trying those boxes, they are empty, like their producer....."

It looks like the saturation is muted just a bit, or perhaps it is the dreariness of the day; either way the colors work quite nicely here. The fogged glass gives this foto a diffused look. Very nice!

why is it that we take pictures of the obscure, the not-so-beautiful, the meaningless? and here's a better question. why is it that we are such suckers [like me] about pics like these? good job, my man. i'd love to blow it up and put it on of my walls.
