Totally cool perspective of these gates. Love the red on blue. Nice shot. (But I guess that's getting kinda redundant to say! ;)

Posted by allan at December 11, 2005 10:09 AMWow Nice. I love the pictures of our city.
Posted by javier at December 11, 2005 10:22 AMIn Toronto, there's a Spadina AVENUE, a Spadina ROAD, but no Spadina STREET. In this case, it's the Avenue.
Posted by Lee at December 11, 2005 10:34 AMThat sculpture's always looked to me like a plate full of leftover chicken balls in a cheap Brantford Chinese restaurant. I lived in the Market and tried for years to like it. I wd stare at it and stare at it and try to like it . But it just looks so viscous.
I don't know. Maybe that's a good thing.
nice shot, but I would definitely have avoided the distractions at the bottom
Posted by Julie at December 11, 2005 01:17 PMGood that the sky was plane, in the background, else i guess any objects in there like birds would have come out of focus, now if that would have enhanced the beauty further or not, i don't know
Posted by subiet at December 11, 2005 01:36 PMInteresting..you must go around a lot ;)
Posted by anostica at December 11, 2005 01:52 PMWe’re all glad you’re here and taking world-renowned photos of our city and a few other places, but it’s surprising how often you can’t even get the actual geographic names right.
Posted by Joe Clark at December 11, 2005 02:23 PMI visited this avenue last july. It was so blue the sky.
Posted by elizabeth at December 11, 2005 02:55 PMI love your blog, visit it always every day ..... when you could and walk in Spadina a photo of the chair takes that this out of a Chinese restaurant....

Posted by Dennise at December 11, 2005 03:15 PMNice shot as usual. That's a really cool sculpture. I think that you should have cropped more of the buildings and stuff from the bottom.
Posted by Ben Kennedy at December 11, 2005 08:12 PMVery nice point of view. I personally would have preferred if I didn't have to scroll to see the entire image. I don't know maybe it's time for me to upgrade the monitor size!!
Posted by noushin at December 12, 2005 10:47 AMlovely! you managed to make a trashy chinatown look gorgeous! lolz
