Great silhouette, could be a scene in a horror film!

When I saw this picture the first thing that came to my head was "wow"
the second thing was how this picture made me think of the Wizard of Oz, the tornado picking up the farm house :)

Ominous view. Where's the killer and his victim?

Holy. That's awesome.

This is a very sad photograph and I dont like it, too much of the picture is in black and the church feels uncentered. But the Feeling of the photo is incredibly strong

Posted by Paolo at December 3, 2005 01:58 PM

Gorgeous! Was it shot in black and white or color?

The onion dome on this building is reminiscent of the domes in yesterday's picture of the orthodox church. A noteworthy juxtaposition Sam. Excellent photos.

That would be weather vane, Sam, I think.
Love your titles as much as your pictures. They add a whole other level of meaning.

The contrast in the clouds is a bit too dramatic, too Maya 3D cloud.

Posted by Boreo at December 3, 2005 09:23 PM

Very nice profile.... reminds me of the 17th century church

Reminds me of the boarding school in Wales I was sent to, on a depressing, dark, rainy day. I can almost feel the damp. Great contrast in the clouds.

Posted by Maddox at December 4, 2005 01:17 AM

This looks almost like a shot from an eerie horror movie. Looks great.

It may wants to say that if the sky is a bit dark, the earth and its contents are the darkness itself! The light would be found only in the sky...

Posted by Salman at December 5, 2005 03:34 PM

ooohhh scary!! I like it!!!!

Posted by stephanie at December 6, 2005 09:25 AM

Posted by Kurt at December 10, 2005 03:59 PM

Dark and fantastic. I love the clouds but would probably have cropped out some of the lower right myself.
