Comments: hole in window

I've got my copy of the new Spacing issue (grabbed today from the uTOpia event at the Gladstone Hotel). Topic: "The New Beautiful City". Definately some nice pics of yours in this issue, Sam. You are certainly front-and-centre on the inside cover and on the last page. The majority of your pics seem to fall in the second half of the issue; the last article in the issue, on Whitby Psych, with the late Jeff Chapman's writing alongside your pics makes for an excellent two-page spread.

Overall, it is a beautiful issue full of great pics and articles, I really think that every issue of Spacing is better than the last. I would recommend that everyone should pick up an issue (at least the folks in T.O.).

I really like the colours of this shot, the blues are great.

Me likes the colours. Just wondering... are the hand marks on the outer side of the window??

This is the short of shot that appeals to me. I think that it is the contrast between the modern pattern of the corrugated cladding and the older stone building in the background. There's a lot that could be read into this picture. Eg. What could it imply about the past? What does the broken window add to this?

love the color and composition on this and the window gives this so much character. do you know anything about how the bullet hole got in the window?

Eeek... a bullet hole? I smell a mystery.

Lovin' the colors and textures, as usual, as usual. I love how everything compliments... well, everything else.

Fantastic colours: the blue and green is great! Good composition.

I had to view this image in my image software and run it through auto-enhance a couple of times to get it bright enough to really see what you call a hand print - which it may be, but it's a bit questionable.

The bullet hole? Ah yes! Days of Elliot Ness and the booze smugglers across the Detroit river. Buy your booze from Seagrams (Sam Bronfman - bronfman means whiskeyman) and run the river. Lots of killing - not much different these days with marijuana. Stupid life!

Um? I like the green and the brickwork contrast.

One of the most unique photos i've seen on here. very cool. you've definately got an eye for things out of the ordinary.

That green and the blue of the sky compliment each other so well. A window like that sure adds mystery.

Very nice shot. I like color of the sky, broken glass and view.
Superb

Good use of thirds, thats about it.

Very nice composition. I like the segmented look of the photo. Absolutely love the warm pastel sky gradient!

I simply adore your work, but havent until today had anything more intelligent to say. The creeping of the sunlight against the green of the wall near the window is wonderful when matched with the darkening blue sky. This photo is just screaming story. I really, really like this.

If the hole was made by a bullet, I have to say it's really a good shot! :-)

Simple and elegant composition. I really like it.

love the grey blue sky.
