Comments: real windows, fake windows

Wow I just navigated away for a minute after looking at the New York to Toronto sky shot, and when I clicked back, you had already put up today's shot. Cool photo.

A buddy took a similiar photo (http://www.flickr.com/photos/jedicam/43131840/ from a town I spent some time in as a youth.

It was painted by Richard Haas. Great artist.

is this a real structure?
wow so surreal!
structure makes me feel winter though,
sunlight and sky make me feel autumn

So appealing to the eyes. Excellent composition! The almost white and orange tone of the building makes a great contrast with the sky. Is the building all covered by those fake windows (except the 2 real windows)?

Yes! my ol' stomping grounds, thank you. Thank you.

Hope you had coffee @ Dantes : d

Beautiful.
Nice light & shadow.

Interesting shot. The sky looks very dark while the building looks to be somewhat burnt out. Hope you have some more good NY shots.

somehow i like the title more than the shot.

I don't care for this picture at all!!! I know the feeling you're going for, and the message is that suicide is okay, and I'm fine with that. My problem is that you have TWO available windows!!!!
Sam, people who are going to kill themselves are not in the mood to make any more decisions. That's what brought them up the stairs in the first place. So next time you're trying to do art reflecting life, reflecting blah, blah, blah. Try thinking about those of us who are just looking to end it. Stop being so selfish!!!

Coop.

P.s. I wish I could have a bite of your apple danish thing that you're eating right now. That's right. I see you!

What makes this shot intriguing is the fact that you shot it when the sun was hitting the building from the same direction as the artist painted the shadows. It takes a while to actually determine there are fake windows (even though the paint is fading and peeling). Tell me, did you paint the building to get this shot? :)

The question in my mind is why, and what was the building created for? Certainly a bizarre facade.

Interesting angle keith...

This picture is very surreal. I was having trouble at first trying to tell whether it's real or not. Its strange.

took me a while to figure out that this was a painting... wow... cool pic too.

I miss east coast architecture so much.

As far as architecture goes, this is a pretty bland composition.
