These are awesome colors. I love all the old stuff in this shot, including the building.
Posted by Nate at October 20, 2005 01:14 AMalthoigh I love the left part of the picture. I don;'t think I dig the right side. I know you were trying to achive a contrast but i don't think it works. 6/10.
Posted by tee at October 20, 2005 01:15 AMGorgeous contrast in colour between the blue and the orange. I also like the warm lighting. Looks like quite a fun restaurant to dine in!
Posted by Leilani at October 20, 2005 01:56 AMI used to live in a house that had a beer fridge. What a blast that was, although it was just a little too easy to have a beer than not on a hot summer day. This has taken me back there, I don't want to grow up!
Posted by ROB at October 20, 2005 01:57 AMWow It's a Colors Party!!
Posted by yousef s. at October 20, 2005 03:59 AMFridge, That not a fridge, that is a kegarator.
Kegarator - A Fridge excpecially designed and altered to dispense beer.
Great site. Is this all set up on photoblogs? I just listed with them and linked my site, which after surfing around I can see that I could change all......
anyway, I linked to your blog from mine:(different than the address above): www.photojournalistjournal.blogspot.com
Posted by sbrannon at October 20, 2005 06:21 AMI love the colors and subject, but I find the stuff outside the window a little distracting.
Interesting composition in that aspect, not sure why you chose it, but it certainly made me think.
Thanks for photoblogging.
Posted by dan at October 20, 2005 08:16 AMI need that at my house! Seems like a cool place.
Posted by moeview at October 20, 2005 09:20 AMGreat, just great. Now I want a beer!! It's not even 9:30am yet!
Posted by qoJ at October 20, 2005 09:21 AMSometimes two different colour temperatures in a photo really work. Great example, nicely done.
Posted by Scott Murdoch at October 20, 2005 09:21 AMSo warm and with so many details. Fantastic composition.
I must get a ef 17-40L to myself to achieve results like this. : )
Don't you just love the little treasures you find on Queen Street?

Posted by Iron John at October 20, 2005 03:11 PMWow, is the Best picture yet Sam. I'm actually crying right now. You've inspired me to take up picture taking art. I'm wiping away my tears and getting a camera. You will be my Jesus! I have eighty dollers, and I'm spending it all on a camera!!!
Posted by keith at October 20, 2005 03:52 PMStunning photo! Love the deep colors. Of course the fridge is awesome, too, even if it's not the most efficient model these days. Take care, Sam. :)

Posted by Hugh at October 22, 2005 12:01 AMwhere'd all the comments go?
Posted by mel at October 22, 2005 01:11 AMI lvoe the atmosphere in this one.
Super. REminds me of some places in the East of Berlin; keeping with the 60's style.OOOooh, so pretty!
This photo is the epitome of the Toronto spirit! There is an energy and an insouciance about the city that I really enjoy. (We live in a tiny hamlet in northern B.C.) My husband and I spent 5 days there "sans" vehicle last September, just wandering around. What I particularly like about this image is the vibrant colours, the contrast of the smooth red wall and the rough grey brick, and the little glimpse of the garden area outside the window.
Posted by Jacqui at October 23, 2005 04:34 PMThe palette reminds me of the album cover of Morcheeba's "Big Calm".
