Comments: cloud over reflection

the top half of the photo -- the first glimpse above the fold -- profoundly affected me.

i can't explain why, really. it just took my breath away.

Nice shot, love the cloud and building, the lines are great.
It's funny to see elements from past photos such as the building reflection and the fire hydrant.

You really are the master of reflections, I believe. Another great shot with the building and the clouds and the sky. Really nice.

Very good composition with the reflexion of the clouds and the sky in the building.
It makes me dream of a morning in spring, when the climate is so perfect.
I like it. Good lights and colors.

Posted by Hervé at October 16, 2005 02:15 PM

aww, so puffy. :) but I personally enjoy the hydrant. It seems lonely.

This is the fifth time ive looked at this picture today. That cloud is huge and looks extremely dense.

I love how the picture changes a lot as you move down, as would be expected really, but capturing it as well as you do is something special.

Back to the traditional DDOI sytle. I am loving it.

This makes the city look so heavy it's a good thing the light is warm. With only 2 people visible it is way too barren feeling. Such are big cities and court house districts.

Great light. Great photo!

A lot of people try the sky in reflections shot but yours stands out.
It's a combination of the light and the type of clouds plus the contrast of the dullness of the rest of the scene.

Good work.

This is so pretty. I love your pictures.

Ah, the lines. Not sure if I've ever seen so many in one photo before. Just great.

I like this picture very much. It looks like a stairway to heaven. And I also love that song. I recomend playing that song while looking at this photo. ecspecially the guitar solo, when it goes. Wahhh, wah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, nah, wearehhhh, ni, nin, ni, ni, ni, ni, ni,ni,nah, nah, wah, nah, na,na, na.

I worked at 52 for over 16 years. I crossed that street so many times...and appreciated the view at the time. I wish I had the technical skill to do what you do. Congratulations yet again.
