Comments: terminal 1

Nice shot, the colours are good and I like the single (barely visible) car. Is it me, or do most airports have a certain style about them; when I saw this I immediately thought of Melbourne Int. Airport.

You have a great ability to turn an ordinary scene into something beautiful. In this case, the lighting as well as the curves are really catching to my eyes.

I don't like you :)

Everytime I think it can not be done better - you do it. It gives me an inferiority complex to visit your site!

Joking aside: It absolutely beatiful! Now I have a new desktop picture to replace the Half-Life picture.

Is it the one where TTC bus stop is?

blah blah, why is your comment not working.

blah blah, why is your comment not working. now it is.

this photo seems a little quiet, i'd say this's at 6 to 7. there's only 1 visible car in such a big airport. scary. seems like somethings not right.

Nice.
The swooping lines remind me of an airplane making a wide turn.

I love the curve. Another awesome shot Sam.

Thats an awesome picture!!! And having been at the terminal 1 many times now --- I appreciate how your picture brings out the spectacular architecture.
Look forward to more of terminal 1 pictures (esp from inside as well!)

(how about the water monument inside?)

Very nice photo. The sharpness in this photo makes me feel standing there. Cool

I hate you too!

you always seem to get shots in that I always get in trouble for. When ever I pull out my camera in public places I usually get security telling me to put it away.

ranting aside I love your eye for composition.

Another great photo, Sam.
So calm and balanced.

Yes sir, you nailed it once again! I expect that this photo is better than seeing this scene in real life. Wonderful composition, esp. with the road curve framing. It is just like the opening frame to a movie scene.

Thanks for sharing your photos with the world.

Is anyone else scared by the fact that an Iranaqi was able to take a photo outside the airport so easily? We need tighter security. U.S.A! U.S.A.! U.S.A.!!!

Airports are beautifull places, they are all designed magnificently, as you prove with this great photo!

I don't know why but this made me think of Cloud City (or whatever that city was called) from Star Wars. hehe.

How did you get the exposure right for the sky and the bus stop/underpass at the same time?

Or was it done in post processing?

Either way it's an amazingly good shot. Well done.

I've yet to see this Terminal 1 in person. But I don't think I'll see it for a very long time because I never fly Air Canada.
