Nice angle. The crispness of the shot made it look like computer art.
Posted by Bart at October 11, 2005 03:21 AMWonderful angle. This is what it feels like to be a bug!
Posted by pfong at October 11, 2005 04:27 AMThat's funny. A little while ago I saw almost the sam picture here:

A little more exciting lighting makes your version just a little better I think.
Posted by Effective Pixels at October 11, 2005 04:47 AMSurreal. Like a scene from The Matrix.
Posted by Ioannis at October 11, 2005 04:59 AMSuber shot, quite scary.
Looks like mixing that

Posted by Ed { tfk } at October 11, 2005 05:51 AMWord to you: Ausstrahlung. Outstanding and shining all at once.
Posted by sharon alexander at October 11, 2005 08:08 AMGreat shot! Love the "bug-like" perspective. I was in Ottawa this past weekend and for the first time saw this metal creature in front of the museum. Pretty damn impressive.
Posted by Dan at October 11, 2005 09:30 AMI got a momentary system shock when that opened. :-)
Posted by Sean Galbraith at October 11, 2005 09:36 AMvery cool as usuall. i was actually there not too long ago and now regret not taking a pic. not that it would look as good as yours :)
cheers

Posted by Moussa at October 11, 2005 09:44 AMFantastic shot and very imposing and menacing. Saw these Bourgeois' sculptures when they were at the Tate Modern in London some years back. They were in the massive turbine hall on a mezzanine and looked very scary!
Posted by David H-W at October 11, 2005 09:58 AMI love this picture! I want to have sex with it! The picture, not the spider, because that's gross.
Posted by keith at October 11, 2005 11:28 AMOnce again, I hate this anatomically incorrect sculpture - but you get good angles on it with interesting light.

Posted by james at October 11, 2005 12:42 PMIt's art; Enjoy it for what it is. Maman is a beautiful sculpture, captured very well here.
It might not be an accurate portrayal of a spider, but Picasso did abstract portraits and they're wonderful as well.
i love the different shades of blue in the sky.
Posted by dbuc at October 11, 2005 02:12 PMvery surreal! great angle :)
Posted by Emma at October 11, 2005 03:27 PMWhoa. This would look awesome as a desktop wallpaper.
Posted by ali at October 11, 2005 04:23 PMas well as the pervious maman !!! ( i think she is persian , from her nick name !)
Posted by M Reza at October 11, 2005 05:04 PMNice colors you brought out here. Definitely a creepy piece of junk though!
Posted by Viking at October 11, 2005 05:08 PMYou may like to see the spider's sister at the Guggenheim in Bilbao, Spain:

Posted by Jennifer at October 11, 2005 11:13 PMThe impossible could happen. If it did, you would be looking at this.
Posted by sun at October 12, 2005 01:58 AMI'm not sure how you got the dark/light/dark scheme in the sky. I don't suppose you'd update a lil' on it?
Posted by Shannon at October 18, 2005 04:59 PMThis picture is bizarre! Now I have to go to ottawa to see it!
