A nice composition. I very much like the different tones of red/brown, and the combination of the bricks and the sky.

Simply, but effective shot. I see these everywhere down my street. Great muted tones and colouring.

A nice simple image (not a criticism) with a really classical English feel.

Nice shot. It's funny, I take a lot of photos like this one & never post them cos I don't think other people would like them, maybe I'm wrong, there are at least two of us out there!!

Nice and simple, but certainly profound. Earthly elements (the color of bricks express that well) reaching up high toward the unknown and unreachable (blue sky and clouds). I like it very much.

Utter pants boring subject made to look good in front of sky.

I love this contrasty shot! That is one big chimney. What kind of building was it?

I get a similar view outside my bedroom window of the house to the side of me, though i would never think of posting it, maybe I will.

Great eye!

I knew it was Oxford even before reading the title.

Nice photo! I love the contrast between the brick and the sky.

Egad! More battered British brickwork.

Warm colors though. Bit like our leaves are at the moment.

The cool thing about this pictures is that; at first glance, it seems cut off. The eye wants to see the rest of the building. But, as one looks at it longer, it looks better and better.

Simple, but deep at once. i like the clouds, into the not so blue sky.
