I sure can draw better than this:)

Looks as if someone tried to paint the bicycle from the moving line-painting-vehicle as well.

Posted by Brian at September 30, 2005 04:43 AM

nice detail :)

Posted by Emma at September 30, 2005 04:48 AM

wonderful!!

Posted by ody at September 30, 2005 07:20 AM

Wow, I wonder what happened to the bike before they used it for the model for that image! Nothing good, I'm sure. Contrast this to the picture I posted a couple of days ago of the boring old stencil they use here in Toronto http://www.seemsartless.com/index.php?pic=455

The road looks like its really chunky.

Nice shot!

Great shot.

I really appreciate your mix of great photography and cycling.

I wish you could photograph my singlespeed!

Nice pic, as always.

Looks like a chalk outline of a 'dead bicycle.'

I bicycle meltdown!

Wow this is amazing. I remember when you took this picture. I think it was in Walton street Jericho on our way back from the canal.
It’s a great shot. We’ve got 100s of these bicycle signs here in Oxford but this one is something else. I love the texture of the asphalt and the funny distorted shape bike.

Posted by Kamyar at September 30, 2005 02:02 PM

This shoddy homemade road sign is a result of British indiference to bike safety.

There is some very good information on this web site http://www.magma.ca/~ocbc/ concerning the appaling bicycle paths in England. The site is particularly aimed at avoiding a compulsory helmet law in Ontario/Canada, but has a great deal of supporting information from many places.

It has information regarding a British doctor who has analyzed the faults with the current standards for bike helmets and has designed one which works, but which he must manufacture himself for the present makers do not want to know about how bad their helmets are.

It's stretched out so that motor cars can see it clearly. I think it looks good enough, after all, it's being run over by wheels anyways.

Boreo is absolutely right.
It's the best way to drivers see.

Great photo.

nice, i just biked the critical mass in chicago here

What a great shot. So full of character and "British-ness" -- absolutely straight lines on one side, and a mess of a bike on the other. Makes you wonder how many pints the painter had before he did the painting.

nice shots!

Hehe.. some people here would need to get a clue about wedding photography.
