EAT of yonge?

Posted by tee at September 28, 2005 02:08 AM

Hello Sam,

Nice picture. It blends the real and the present (building on the left) with the mysterious and beyond (white sky on the right). I've been enjoying your DDOI for a while and I got a lot of inspiration from you work.
Thank you for your efforts and work. It is really worth it. You know these days when you tired and just not in the mood to post one more photo on DDOI, know that there are lots of fans waiting for that dose. Thanks much and keep up the good work. Peace, -= Moussa =-

Observation. You mean East of Yonge not eat of yonge.

This is perhaps the first time I've been the first to post a comment! Its a shame the sky is a bit bland but I love the photo otherwise. Love those browns!

Looks like the back of Massey Hall. I was shooting there just yesterday! :-) Nice shot!

Looks more like peeled finishing concrete, but peeled it is for sure. It gives the impreseion that modern is better, but the modern ones wear and fall apart more quickly than many architechts and buyers would like. Our society has a soft belly.

IN new million dollar condos in Toronto you will hear your neighbors hi-fi and maybe some conversation. Crap quality. Pity. And everyone wondering why people use drugs (to escape the crap) and the society is falling apart. Cheap values!

In Ottawa the Bank of Canada is replacing all the glass facade on its fancy building - about 15 years old. Costing the taxpayer millions of dollars - because the original is faulty. Junk!

hi Sam,

The photo has some interesting elements but is in no way challenging. It's quite mediocre and boring. It shows weak creativity in its composition. It looks more like a casual snapshot taken in passing than anything resembling art.

I would have framed only the reflection and the wall with the shadow and the peeling paint - cropping away the lap post and the sky. Otherwise, as it is, it's merely a thoughtless snapshot of something that had interesting elements in it but whose elements were never given the thought and aesthetic problem solving that is necessary for a good picture.

Great reflection with warm colours and a nice contrast with the blistering paint on the old wall.

Hey. Great photo. Love the colors and the contrast of it. You should post a portfolio online, and sell these!

amasing the way you capture the mirror effects in the windows. Perfect. Congratulations
