Stunning photo.
Thanks
Wonderful choice to remain b&w with this one. I love the sense of solidarity.
Posted by JavaJive at October 5, 2005 03:53 AMspectacular. Love the lines.
Posted by Chris Nolan.ca at October 5, 2005 04:50 AMNice! The static person watching a fast moving train makes a good contrast.
Posted by Effective Pixels at October 5, 2005 05:15 AMthis one's a keeper :D
Posted by Asby at October 5, 2005 05:22 AMHere in Argentina there are a lot of "photographeables" scenes, specially in subways.
Have you ever been here?
Love your site, from a time ago. First time i comment in.
My greats from Buenos Aires!!!
Posted by Luleau.- at October 5, 2005 06:19 AMjust wanted to be the first one today to say 'yet another fantastic picture' - i'm a sucker for subway shots, esp. when the train is in motion. look forward to your new picture every day; you have a fantastic eye for the sublime. keep up the astounding work.
Posted by damian at October 5, 2005 08:08 AMThis is a very cool photo. I like the isolation of the person waiting and how his/her situation reminds us of life passing us by. Great angle too, making the train and station converge at one point in the distance.
Posted by Kenneth at October 5, 2005 08:26 AMI see you're using your little camera. Good camera or good photographer? I think, a great photographer.
Posted by Nate at October 5, 2005 08:43 AMVery interesting that the person is the only non-blurry item in the photo.
Posted by Sean Galbraith at October 5, 2005 09:56 AMFantastic image. I can't believe you took this with a d-compact. I would struggle to take this photo with my d-slr!
Posted by twocker at October 5, 2005 10:14 AMwow.
i love the blur of the train. its fantastic.
loving your photos
Posted by Gavin at October 5, 2005 10:18 AMFantastic shot. I really like the tones, the movement and the fact that only really sharpness to the imagage is the person in the dark top. Very striking image. Well done.
Posted by Tom B at October 5, 2005 10:51 AMfantastic picture.
you are so talented
you're pictures seize to amaze me
Posted by Traci at October 5, 2005 11:29 AMOnce more a great photo. I admire your capability to shoot a photo handheld with such a low shutterspeed, and still keep the image sharp. Got some tips?
Posted by Frank Fonteijn at October 5, 2005 12:20 PMWhat beautiful black and white goodness! Is the Raynox extension a wide-angle attachment?
Posted by H at October 5, 2005 01:16 PMgreat pic!
can i get this at a higher resolution for desktop background?
Posted by andrew qh at October 5, 2005 01:32 PMwow, i love this. the contrast and the blurrrrrrrrr.
Posted by degan at October 5, 2005 01:43 PMGreat contrast between movement and stillness.

Posted by SK at October 5, 2005 04:03 PMbreath taking.
wow i recently took a photo that is about the same thing, cept it is in color
I like the curve perspective on this photo
I am quite a fan of subway shots (where so much life is, yet often unseen through the lens), and especially shots like this - this one is no exception!
Ive been watching your pics for a while now and i love so many of them!
Posted by Phil at October 5, 2005 06:04 PMI have been looking at your website ever since I came back "homesick" from my trip to your beautiful city back in April. After visiting my friend, I have found that I will always have a place in my heart for the city and the people of Toronto. Since returing to Seattle, I have been scheming a way to get back there!
I am particularly impressed by your exquisite skill and mastery of your craft. Your street scenes shine, and your choice of colour or black and white is always in good taste. I so appreciate your website and your talent. Thank you so much!

Posted by Ioannis at October 9, 2005 10:57 AMWow. Absolutely wow. It was this kind of foto that got me hooked on your site and photography!
Posted by Abe at October 12, 2005 10:40 PMYeah yeah, same as what's already been said. Fanfreakintastic... :) Love very defined and slightly curved lines, that's some nice equipment usage!
Posted by Tommy at October 14, 2005 06:02 PMThis is an amazing pic! You are an incredible artist. I have been enjoying your work for two hours in a row and I can not stop. If I manage to leave this website, I will be back for more.

I have seen lots of these "still person - moving train" shots around, but this one stands out to me. I really like the perspective, and how the vanishing point is tweaked so far to the left of the frame.
Posted by Jarrett Gorin at November 4, 2005 11:19 PMI´m making something like this photo.
I allways chek your site, it´s very beautifull
