I pass this intersection everyday. I love checking in to see if I can pick out where your latest photos were taken. Keep it up!
Posted by Ryan at September 22, 2005 01:54 AMi'm from southern california. one word = SMOG. This picture is quite breath taking, and even in eyes of a blue collar worker, the intersection is viewed as a retreat and not a street light. nice work!
Posted by eyedream at September 22, 2005 02:59 AMI don't pass this intersection but ill do in a near future. I love pictures of Downtown area Sam. Thanks 4 this wonderful shot :D
Posted by DavidFF at September 22, 2005 04:06 AMSo much going on and yet a very clean composition. Reflections are always good and I like the criss cross of all the lines.
Posted by Andy at September 22, 2005 04:55 AMfantastic balance of angles and blueness - the yellow of the lights is great - I particularly like Yonge St floating in the sky. The one way street sign is intriguing as it looks like there are many ways to go - not least of which is up!
Posted by Pen at September 22, 2005 08:18 AMnice colours and composition.
Posted by sanjin at September 22, 2005 09:57 AMInteresting shot for me. That building must sit on the old Star Weekly printing plant lot. I worked in the Star building for 3 years lifting about 40-80 tons of paper a day - like any in a news plant of that size. I knew it had changed but now I know what replaced it. It's been a long time and I don't have much likelihood of seeing that corner again, so thanks for the unique and artful view. I note the zippy looking curved building on the left and I'm wondering what company that is.
Thanks Sam.
Posted by Hugh Petrie at September 22, 2005 10:08 AMGreat shot. I love the detail you've captured in the reflection - pretty amazing. The colours just pop out of the screen. Love it.
Posted by Dan at September 22, 2005 10:36 AMGood composition. I like the reflection. The colours are very sharp.
Posted by Ed at September 22, 2005 11:15 AMi really like the reflection of the clouds on the window and the angle at which this picture was taken, very nicely done.
Posted by bmarz at September 22, 2005 11:47 AMbright blue and other colors! Woohoo! :O)
Posted by Matt at September 22, 2005 11:56 AMAll of your pictures are truly amazing.

Posted by jasonspix at September 22, 2005 12:32 PMHey..this is where i work..EDS building!!
As always..nice picture Sam
I like the reflection of the clouds, it almost looks like the sky has been made into a grid.
Posted by Rosh at September 22, 2005 03:13 PMthis one is really cool. love how the 'building is also the sky'
YES!! I love it!
I missed these types of shots
beautiful blue sky, white clouds, and generally crisp detail
great perspective as well!
As always, great photo.
In response to Hugh Petrie's question above about the curved building on the left, it's a new hi-rise condo that's just finishing construction called "One King West". Not surprisingly, it's located at 1 King Street West. (http://www.onekingwest.com/)
Posted by Rob at September 22, 2005 05:50 PMSo colourful. I love it.

Wow, what a great shot. The reflections in the windows are stunning, and the tall building on the far left looks almost drawn. Spectacular!
