This is very sad shot, like dead city in the night...

wow this is really cool, especially the sihlouette of the tall spinny thing.
reminds me of the band the postal service and how their stuff is fashoned.

No leaves on the tree? This pic has a spooky ghost-town like feeling accentuated by being captured in B&W. Great composition.

Another with a face I can see in the cloud. Which reminds me I have something of a part of one of your way earlier images to send you to point to another of yours with faces.

I love the accidental faces and images that appear in photos of nature - or rotting plaster and wood walls and the like. It's like carving stone or wood and finding the object is already there.

ahhh the infamous Thorncliffe Park...nice shot

Quite effective, and I am sure much more so in B+W that it would have been in colour.

Noting, and appreciating, the way the tree mimics the cloud; the angle of the disintegrating con trail echoing the one bare trunk, the fan shape of the twigs on the left picked up again by the outline of cloud, even one little protruding branch to the right repeating a whisp of fading cloud; confirms my belief that you are getting a lot of assistance from a Source to which the rest of us have no access.
At the same time, it is fabulous the way you can see and take advantage of such a set up.
Beautiful capture, Sam, thanks for sharing.

Hi,
Beautiful photo!
The combination of blacl and white is so nice!

Excellent geometry! I found a letter N formed by the tree and the post connected with the cloud :)
The gradient adds a lot to it..and as a sudden surprize there is a solid black baze. Unusuall, yet appealing.

classic contrast between man-made and nature but but it's not obvious

This foto has a nice, symmetrical feel to it. Everything seems in proportion, and the background structures gives the sense of depth that finishes the effect nicely.
