Nice! This billboard must be huge! I really like how the guy on the scafolding is wearing a red shirt and black hat ... too cool.

Wow, thats bright. Nice colours. I was just wondering if you did have your telephoto lens, what would you have zoomed in on?
Posted by Eugene Sakhnenko at July 28, 2005 01:23 AMis the whole building painted in thoe colors?what a cool sight!
Posted by mikhail at July 28, 2005 03:11 AMhmmms.. just curious. why is it that you took this part of the whole big picture?
Posted by Yati at July 28, 2005 04:09 AMJust got up, but woke up only after seeing the photo. Grand colours...
Posted by Fotosia at July 28, 2005 04:18 AMBright vibrant colour! Or 'global colors' to be exact.
Nice shot.
Fantastic colors which is of cause even stated on the sign.
You do have an excellent eye for the ordinary and make it more than that.
Posted by Rob at July 28, 2005 05:16 AMAnother great snap- full of colour.
Posted by JHO at July 28, 2005 06:24 AMCool image. Muito Legal!
Posted by Jana at July 28, 2005 07:54 AMGreat eye-popping colors!
Posted by christine at July 28, 2005 09:07 AMInteresting shot.
Odd thing, though. This is the sort of thing that makes a typographer cringe. The spacing on that type really needs fixing up. I can't look at it without seeing all the spacing flaws. This is why we typographers are considered very odd....
Posted by Ravenmn at July 28, 2005 09:16 AMAhh, the notorious Stump! For those who don't know, The Stump is a building in the heart of the financial district that lost its financing (or so I've been told). All that was actually built was the beginnings of the elevator shafts. Now its just used for advertising.
Shouldn't someone buy this thing and turn it around? I'm looking at you, Trump.
Posted by Michael at July 28, 2005 09:21 AMgreat colors, and use of scale showing the different sized text with the scaffolding. Nice capture!
Posted by aj at July 28, 2005 09:48 AMI can see a couple of different images coming out, with a longer lens, but this is really nice. You don't want to give the sign-guy too much weight, and a closer crop might have done that.
Posted by Robert at July 28, 2005 09:55 AMwow, global colours is right... is this an advertisement?
Posted by soul clinic at July 28, 2005 10:08 AMnice colours. green colour is always pleasant to look at.
Posted by sanjin at July 28, 2005 10:11 AMThe texture on the wall is my favourite part of the picture. It seems like you wouldn't be able to see it at a different angle.
Posted by Felicia at July 28, 2005 11:15 AMwow..awesome shot.bright colours. huge building (i hope that it is a building only).. and the tiny man!! asif an ant is n front of an elephant..
Posted by neha phillips at July 28, 2005 11:22 AMI still continue to believe that the text has been added after taking the shot...
Posted by nick at July 28, 2005 11:23 AMI'm guessing that this was the startings of the bay-adelaide centre that was never finished. Last time I was in the area though it wasnt painted. It is too bad that it was painted with something interesting and artistic rather than advertising.
It's an interesting angle though, it looks like the scaffolding is not parallel with the ground and is going to fall. Interesting shot as always.
Posted by Mark at July 28, 2005 02:16 PMDear Sam, I wish you were in Iran so that we could see the hidden beauty of our country through your eyes.
What a great shot! It's pretty funny seeing the man below those big letters. He looks like an ant!
Posted by arie *idealimpact at July 28, 2005 06:02 PMIt's a great shot. It's grande and vibrant. The people give perspective to just how massive it is. Great colors!
Posted by Abe at July 28, 2005 08:28 PM"RIGHT" on brother!
Posted by tee at July 28, 2005 10:32 PMyeah i work really close to here. it's the wall of a building that never got finished...michael got it right: the Stump. they change ads every few months...and they're all really nicely designed :-)
Posted by alastair at July 28, 2005 11:25 PMI just walked by that a matter of days ago, and there was no writing. I was wondering what type of advertisment they were going to place there!
Posted by Brandon Erik Bertelsen at July 28, 2005 11:34 PMThis is very impressive. I have been looking around your site, and your pictures are beautiful.
Posted by Ana at August 2, 2005 04:54 PMI work at this company. It says 'Get the right outcome with the right income' It's advertising for our new income fund line-up.
