Ooo I like this one! With the tree to the side and it's shadow falling across the rest of the photo, it's kinda spooky but only a bit. I can't figure out where in the Distillery District this is though :)
Posted by Dan at August 21, 2005 11:31 AMMakes the whole thing seem stressful, the shadow. Its scary in a sense, the tree is being pulled into the ground or something. this is a really cool effect, just probably not my favorite
Posted by Hugh at August 21, 2005 11:45 AMI love the somplicity of this shot - great stuff!
Posted by emma at August 21, 2005 03:21 PMhow beautiful, professional, Gorgeous photos you can shoot! wow! I like to work with camera and I have a canon 400 too, but never and ever I can shot a photo like you! you are a genius!
Posted by hanna at August 21, 2005 04:06 PMOh Sam, nice catch! And B&W makes the best of the shadow. Drunk shadows hanging on a wall?
Posted by Hugh at August 21, 2005 04:43 PMthe ghost of the tree from yesterday's pic? maybe it's fading off into that land that dead trees go? it's a thought
Posted by minnie at August 21, 2005 11:41 PMThis kind of simple shot is what first stirred my interest in photography. Thank you, Sam, for your never ending contribution to my passion for photography.
