hahah yes!! very funny, I see the two eyes and the mouth and... possible a knife/gun from it's mouth. gruesome murder, i suspect.
Posted by lydia at July 30, 2005 01:50 AMlol thats the most hilarious murder ever
Posted by nothere at July 30, 2005 02:09 AMNice picture. Gives me the idea of a murder scene from an Alfred hitchcock movie (The whole in the part idea)
Posted by miguel at July 30, 2005 02:51 AMlooks like a vomitting bird. nice capture.
Posted by James at July 30, 2005 03:09 AMHmmmm, a serious crime photo...
I like the composition, also the white of the plastic bag.
Sam, if you had a favorites box I could check off this would take it! By far the funniest thing i've seen in a photo in a long time.
Posted by Travis at July 30, 2005 03:50 AMLOL, I saw that exact same spill but from a different angle while strolling along there...now though, I see a thirsty carton where before I only saw an oozing mess.
Posted by TT at July 30, 2005 03:51 AMthis reminds me of another one of your shots, i think it was the burger king cup?
Posted by rich at July 30, 2005 03:54 AMcan't tell if the box is drinking or spitting it out. Good capture.
Posted by mehdi karami at July 30, 2005 04:29 AMYou've got such a sharp eye for the possiibilities of a scene, I'd have just walked past this.
Exellent Sam.
ahaha thats pretty funny, but whtat IS that liquid stuff?
Posted by Tony at July 30, 2005 07:01 AMyeah, it kind of looks like some kind of a dying fish or something..
funny pic.
the victim is experiencing the aftermath of having too much booze the night before. gross sight but interesting pic. :D
Posted by originee at July 30, 2005 08:39 AMInteresting indeed!

That's hilarious. What a great eye to see that.
Posted by Andy at July 30, 2005 09:17 AMOh the inhumanity!
Posted by Daivd S at July 30, 2005 09:25 AMIt does look like a face. The straw looks like a cigarette it (the box) is smoking!! and the logos (circles) look like eyes!! HAHA, it's a funny one.
Posted by Peggy at July 30, 2005 10:56 AMThe description of your pic is about a victim with a face and open mouth. When I first saw it, it reminded me if an incident I had last night with my friend, where the box would be my friend, and everything else was what he did after a long night of drinking last night! Cheers, keep up the great photography!!
Posted by DJ at July 30, 2005 10:58 AMChocolate blood!! Now there's a concept! Fun shot! Rita
Posted by Rita at July 30, 2005 10:59 AMI cry over spilt chocolate milk. :-)

Posted by alice at July 30, 2005 02:07 PMThis one dosen't appeal to me. Sure it's neet that there appears to be a face on the carton. But, this is littering, and I really have a thing about littering, and I just dont know why some people just don't care enough to clean up after themselves.
Posted by Iis at July 30, 2005 03:54 PMits a wonderful shot. great composition. did you turn on a vivid color mode or something. like vivid brown?
Posted by /\/\J at July 30, 2005 05:19 PMi dont know why but now i see the face too :P
Posted by hiba at July 30, 2005 06:18 PMlol how humerous ;)
Posted by Ali at July 30, 2005 08:57 PMEeew, looks like a college shaming picture. This poor boxes pals got him smashed till he wretched then they documented the whole thing.
I like how there is no other color in the shot other than the brown. Nicely done.
Posted by Daniel Pape at July 31, 2005 01:15 AMThis one made me laugh, nice shot.
Posted by Joe at July 31, 2005 01:42 AMOoh, lovely! A touch of the old William Egglestons about this one. Lovely composition.
Posted by Mark Lawton at August 1, 2005 01:13 PMfunny capture... you have a great imagination!
Posted by digital di at August 1, 2005 01:36 PMThis is a good example of the difference between the way a photographer sees the world around us and the ordinary people do.
Every tiny and useless (in terms of ordinary people view) thing can make you think.
I would sit down and get a bit closer to the scene (as you have already used the longest possible telephoto on your lens i.e 55mm).
I appreciate and highly regard your view and keen eyes.
Ha ha! Great title! I think only you could turn this into art. Very nice.
