That's It?!???
Posted by zach at July 24, 2005 04:04 AMThis image is so familiar to me... a sunny afternoon is the best time for biking and what accompanies me on my biking excursions is the shadow of me on the bike moving swiftly over the side of the trail, being distorted by all sorts of surfaces it falls onto.
BWT, thanks for updating yesterday's post as a shot of a person aiming a camera outside the frame of the image does make it look a bit incomplete.
That looks like the middle of nowhere, still we can spot a fire hydrant?

Nice image. The colors you obtain are beautiful. Are they natural or enhanced?

2 hands on the bike......where is the camera located?
Posted by mlong at July 24, 2005 01:14 PMThis is a really interesting pic. The motion comes through very nicely and the perspective is interesting! Love the shadow. Good lighting, too!
Posted by Abe at July 24, 2005 01:37 PMit really smells like summer.
Nice colors......
Taken while moving from the looks of it. I like the fire hydrant looking like a little man, though the black thingy sticking out front - it's own shadow in fact - looks a bit pornographic. Ah well!
I didn't know there was a bike trail like this in Toronto. Must be something new since I lived there in the 60's. Great looking trail.
Posted by Hugh at July 24, 2005 07:21 PMsometimes the air feels like liquid in the summer... that's what your photo reminds me of. cool shot.
Posted by doris Chang at July 24, 2005 08:45 PMLove it. Nice motion blur. I went on a biking adventure today in the woods. Man those bugs are relentless.
Posted by Raffi at July 24, 2005 09:20 PMbiking? is that a new verb for cycling?
Posted by Chaps at July 24, 2005 09:26 PMIt reminds me of my childhood. Great shot!
Posted by ugur gundogmus at July 24, 2005 09:53 PMLove those action shots. Kinda like mine posted today (www.neverhappen.com) but different. :)
