Wow Sam, that is poster-worthy! Amazing on every level, wouldn't change a thing... except experiement with a BIT more total brightness. Kudos, this one is a keeper.

The picture itself is wonderful, Sam. The sun, it's reflection on the water and clouds (so well done!) and the CN Tower are all incredible!
Posted by Abe at May 13, 2005 01:22 AMhe looks so sneaky!
Posted by Luscious_Liz at May 13, 2005 01:38 AMwow..what incredible shot..i love so much the sunsets in general but this one is amazing. I like this soft colours and the reflections on the sea..
like a painting.. great!!
i love this one..really!

Posted by odilia at May 13, 2005 02:00 AMI like these perspectives. Photographers shooting photographers. Especially since you managed to get the sun in there also.
Posted by Matt at May 13, 2005 02:24 AMThis is Toronto. In May. The elongating day tricks one into thinking the evening wind will echo the day's warmth of the sun. No dice. This photog knows as much and is dressed the part.
YOu've taken me off the west coast and dropped twilight-zone-like into the scene itself. I can smell the winter's old stale air.
Magic.
Fantastic. I really like this one.
When I saw the top of the picture, I wasn't prepared for the photographer at the bottom!
Posted by Stephanie at May 13, 2005 03:08 AMVery nice composition!
I happened to open this in a small IE window at first. As I scrolled down, what I saw gradually changed from a pretty postcard into something much more interesting.
dear Sam, it could be be, isn't it ?!
anyway , I love the colors, specially this incredible blue for the shadow in the bottom, thanks a lot for so much beauty.
Nice work in getting some detail in the foreground. Lovely image.
Posted by Andy (SensorChip) at May 13, 2005 04:20 AMNice Shot!

Posted by Ian at May 13, 2005 06:19 AMNice work. Excellent exposure and clarity. I like the subject, and how you love to make me scroll! Unbelievable shadow detail!

It needs no real comment from me other than,
Thank You for Sharing.
Gorgeous......a lovely, peaceful, thoughtful photograph.
And thank you for allowing me to appreciate the sunset after I didn't get a chance to in real time - this is about as close as one could have to the real thing, I think!

i think reflection is warmer
Posted by Mamad at May 13, 2005 02:15 PMI'm a writer not a visual artist, but it seems that the photograph here naturally includes the color spectrum from orange to violet.
Posted by K at May 13, 2005 02:48 PMVery nice sunset.
Posted by Raffi at May 13, 2005 06:05 PMAs a photographer and a cyclist, thanks for reminding me of the benefits of blending BOTH my passions ;) Nice photo.
Posted by Chris at May 13, 2005 07:23 PMgreat shoot, skyline in the bg is very cool... that must have been an interesting situation
Posted by mariel at May 13, 2005 07:45 PMThe top 2/3rds of that shot are fabulous (the reflection is incredible); but the surprise at the bottom just makes it that much better. That's one of the things I love about your "scroll on down" shots -- they get better the farther down you scroll. Wonderful.
Posted by myla at May 14, 2005 01:11 AMVery great shot.
Posted by Pat at May 15, 2005 12:27 AMYour pictures are just amazing. I now log on daily, checking out ur next art piece. Thanks!
