Comments: garbage bags and shadows

I like this - interesting composition. The garbage bags are quite interesting! Great yellow on the garbage tie on the bag on the far right.
I also like the clean and symmetrical lines.

You give me great ideas for shooting that I would never think of on my own. Maybe garbage bags will appear on my new site soon. Shameless plug. ;-)

Interesting contrast between the blue wall and the yellow elements... also the contrast between the saturation of blue and the desaturation of yellow is amazing for me... and also betwen the squared gray wall and the black rubbish... a strange atmosphere...

I think the organic orientation of the trash bags, mixed with the splash of wall/post color, the nautical windows and that sloped wall really makes this a dynamic photo. One of my favorites of yours to-date.

What a story. I wonder what's in those bags. Who left them? Does anyone stand under that shady area for a chat? Good stuff!

You know sam, one should be an absolute 'stoopit' to steal photos from a well respected and famous photographer! :) good luck man.

Finally sam a waste management picture. Love it!

I really like the architecture, especially the 'portal' windows and the industrial awening. The trash bags really add some nice contrast.

I really like this photo.

I'm sorry Sam - this is just not a good picture. I'm not one for giving compliments for the sake of doing so.

For someone who has soooo many fantastic photos, this shouldn't have made the top one for today.

Reminds me of the garbage strike that might happen soon... Hope that wont happen..

Cool pic, the building is so clean and then theres bags of garbage right in front.. heh

Uhm, I think I agree with Adam. I guess you have more better pics to post next.

So I'll wait.

I'm sorry to say that I am not a fan of this photo. Usually I like all of your work but this one bores me. However I know you have much better photos in store for us.

THIS PICTURE IS GARBAGE!!! :P hahahahaha
awesome shot man and a unique perspective of garbage. gj!

nice shot (as always).... it looks more like a street on europe, though once the eye realizes there are garbage bags on the sidewalk...you also realize...it's our Toronto

I'm sorry but despite ppl's great comments, and the fact that I luv most of your pictures, I don't really get the significance of this one. I mean what made you actually stand in front of some garbage bags and an old wall, to take a picture?

A great show of varying textures and light. Good eye for an interesting array of sorts!

This image I like much better than the next days image of the columns. You have taken the preexisting architectural design and contrasted it with the lumps of trash. This I like in that there seems to be more thought put into this image from the viewers point of view.
