Comments: cn tower, seagulls and me

Another great picture. I like the way all the shadows draw you into the middle of the picture, and until i really looked at the picture, assumed the man walking across the park was your good self! ;-)

A question though, is Toronto always blessed with such interesting and camera friendly light conditions, or does the camera or yourself enhance them? Either way carry on doing what you are doing. A great inspiration.

The best we can hope for here on the south coast of the UK is a slightly yucky damp grey colour or a really far to bright sun that burns eveything out. At least that is what I end up with...

CN tower, a church, trees leafing out, a 7-11, seagulls, an apartment building, Sam's shadow -- what a great summary of Toronto!

The proper term for those birds is "sh1thawk"

How about a self portrait? I visit your site almost every day and have no idea who's making all these photos.

Does that tower thing go up and down? Or is it stationary?

Wow...Trinity Bellwoods Park! I love this place. Lovely shot but I'd be delighted to see the other photos you've taken. I thought, just this one doesn't justify the wonderful spirit that this place has.

Hi Sam I'm thinking you need a clone....one to do the mundane asspects of living like working, and then yourself just to shoot photos all day, my hat is off to you for finding the time for making it all happen... I liked yesterdays "towering mirrorII" hope all is well,,,,

luv the shadowy creature making a deal with the pidgeons in the lower right ... all the while in a park, trust no one ...

Mark: yes, the tower is stationery--it's the church steeple!

I usually enter your page through your archives, so when I saw the title, "cn tower, seagulls and me", I knew I was going to be suprised. And I was, pleasantly I might add.

Great colours, and the seagulls dotting the landscape are very intriguing (were there breadcrumbs all over the place?), plus your shadow, the mysterious cameraman capturing the scene, tops it off.

Although I must say you do perpetuate the stereotype that the CN Tower can be seen from every location in Toronto! haha ;) But I don't mind at all!

Once again, thanks for sharing.

Glad you like the XT sam. I picked one up two weeks ago and I haven't been able to put it down. The speed is remarkable. And the weight great. I carry it around with me everyday.

I'm thinking those birds have morphed from sea gulls to lake gulls to grass gulls.

Lovely shot, Sam - I wish I could shove a few of those gulls aside and stretch out on the new grass!

God bless Toronto and its extra large, non moving church steeples.
