Oohh I really like this one. It brings me back to when I was working downtown. I like how its so close to being black and white as well, it gives it an old style touch.

It seems that you prefer the muted tones the last couple days. Beautiful play with light and shadow, highlights and patterns.

This photograph makes the streetcar look so much larger. Of course, any rider who's been through rush hour can disprove that right away :-)

I really like this perspective, and the shadows really make this! Great shot!

I like the way you frame street signs within the streetcar windows. Hey, is that a ten dollar bill on the floor?

Hi, I'm a newbie here. I really like your work (I have it set as my automatic site on IE now, and I can't wait to see each day's pictures!) I really like this one. It has an old-school flare to it (like black and white pictures from the 50's and 60's). Great job!

i agree with Raffi (second comment), how it's almost black and white. just like yesterday's picture of the chairs. it's my current wallpaper :)

Nice perspective...the morning sun coming in, is refreshing, promising.

Not quite sepia, more mauve or a pale deep rose color. Camera setting? Film? Or post-image manipulation? It doesn't matter in terms of my appreciation, I'm just curious {and not yellow :-)}. It imparts a wonderfuly warm and comforting feeling to the image.

I hate to admit that I did NOT take notice of your superb touch in framing the street signs with the streetcar's windows until I read a comment about it above, but no doubt that added to the overall positive effect of the foto for me; along with the stark shadows and fine pattern details, of course. Fine work, sir.

I really like the very subtle colors in this photo.

This feels like a memory from my childhood -- even the height from which you took it, just perfection. I could see this image on an album cover -- just brilliant.

Being a fellow Torontonian, I can appreciate the rareness of an empty streetcar at any time of day! It simply doesn't happen :)
The first thing that grabbed my eye was the look of the velvet on the seats, its all worn and with the muted colours seems almost ancient (the wood panelling adds to the effect too).

The emptyness and muted colours give this picture an almost desolate feel like the town is totally abandoned.

Fantastic image!! You are an inspiration to anyone that has ever picked up a camera!!!

I look at your pictures for two reasons. 1) To see bits of my favourite city in the world. 2) Because the pictures are great. This picture is so cool, I love it.
