Very creative and beautiful....nice photo.

Most lovely, thank you. Your image prompts me to mention that there's a new book out on Edward Hopper. Given this image of yours, you'd probably enjoy it.

I'm the first to see this!?!?!
I like the effect of the rain on this shot. It exactly looks like a painting to me. Colors and composition perfect as usual.Well done!

As some people have said already, very interesting perspective. I especially like how the window isn't just covered in droplets, its covered in a layer of water.

:-D Hi Sam, a bit late,...'congratulation' and 'happy new year'!, but you could guess we were in '15 days Norooz vacation'! ;)

Very serene picture, almost has a surreal quality. Makes me reach for a hot cup of tea. Nicely done.

Cool picture. At first glance I thought you'd taken up oil painting!! Great picture but please, no more rain shots - I can see rain all the time here in England!! :-)

hey, i dont know bout this one... it doesnt seem that significant, to me its just a picture of some buildings through a wet window... i dont like it

U tricked me to think that u got some heavy photoshopping going on here. I guess I need more beer.

Posted by Boreo at April 1, 2005 10:18 PM

nice shot. i think windows are always an interesting subject.

I like this photo. When I first glanced at it I thought it was some type of photo manipulation. The fact that it isn't really appeals to me. It is more obvious that is rain as I look at the text on the sign.

Posted by laanba at April 1, 2005 11:48 PM

Cool pic, Sam. I like it. It could be so easy to pass up on something you see every day, but you made it art.

Posted by Abe at April 2, 2005 12:38 AM

mmhhhh... I'm not sure about this one, I kinda feel the idea - but I think it lacks something...

Posted by Markus Hartel at April 2, 2005 12:59 AM

I agree with the Edward Hopper comparison, this is the first thing I though of when I saw this. It certainly has a painting feel about it.

Beauteous, mesmeric, sui generis... I've never seen a photgraph like it and I am completely delighted to have seen it. Thank you for displaying this image.

Painterly....most realistic watercolor I've ever seen.

You have quite an eye - I've been enjoying your photos for some time.

I love rainy days, as long as I am indoors!

:P

Posted by rei at April 11, 2005 01:10 AM

this is soo photoshopped. interestingly done though.

Posted by MrX at April 21, 2005 01:39 AM

it seems like a water painting to me. I have tried doing this kind of work as well. Such work inspires me. Good Job!
