Comments: rusty station

Sam... I enjoy this. This will sound very amateurish (which I am in terms of my photographic abilities) but I like the white strips and the darkening golden-colored ones, with the bright green and black in the middle. Very cool, Sam. Thanks so much for your daily inspiration.

this picture rocks, excellent use of lines and contrast! i especially like the combination of colors (gold and green). you dont see that everyday (hm, unless you walk by that area i guess...)

Oh, no WONDER the TTC is considering a fare hike!! Eeeeek.

Interesting shot, though. Loved yesterday's, too!

Nicely done, Sam. But, you linked to the wrong thread actually ("Canon S60 vs. Canon A95 - Which for a photoblog?" instead of your workflow one) ;)

I like the contrast of the new looking black plastic around the illuminated sign against the rusted away metal to the left. Great composition.

Very nice overall yellow-brownish tone with a great green contrast, nice... I love the different lines in the picture and the details in the rust...

Thanks Sam for creating that forum on my request to share your usual workflow. I am sure this will help everyone, including myself on learning the things that we never knew existed/we missed. If your forum has GBs of free space (?), perhaps it be a good idea to creat a section for users to upload their own pictures and get comments and feedbacks..what do you think?

Very nice, one of your best in a while. I really like the sign, it looks nice. Good job, altough it is a little bit blurry.

nice photo. It's green its shinny and it looks new, but im sure thats an old sign. Probably it dates back to the early 80's. It's got that "big digital clocks are cool" feel to it. I may be wrong purhaps it is more mid or late 80's.

Anyways nice photo.

The green sign makes this picture what it is. Pretty cool capture.

This is one of my absolute favorites! I can't get over the colors! The gold and the green and I love the mix of the crumbling brown on the left with the brilliant and shiny gold on the right! What a cool mix of elements in this shot.

So it's a green sign. Sorry but I find this (and yesterday's) shot simply uninteresting.
