Comments: snow and the moon

I love this picture. I went to elementary school down the street from here.

You site has been an inspiration for about a couple of months and I haven't missed a single one of your pics. It is part of my daily routine to check the pic on your site everyday I get into office!

And this! what a wonderful scheme of things, the moon the sunlit building yonder and snow convered forground, what a constrast life is!

Great light! Looks like it's very early!

pretty picture. I dont have much more than that to say about this one. well the clouds are nicely balanced on each side of the building and the moons location helps balance the weight of the large tree on the opposing side.

That poor tree looks like it snapped under the weight of the snow. Toronto winters are so cold, but at least you dont have earthquakes and other deadly events like here. Enjoy the great skiing weather.

the trees in the foreground and backgroud on the left are mixing up. I would burn the one in the foreground down first.

I hate how the moon is always so much bigger when we take the picture then when it gets developed.

i visit your site often. sometimes i think i've been to toronto. but i never have. then i realize it's cause i like your site.

i like the angle you've taken on this one.. where the forground trees on either side blend in height with the background. between that and the sun on that building it creates a nice movement into the shot.

From the position and phase of the moon I'd say it was late afternoon.

I love the light on the building on the right.

How do you find the time to take all these wonderful photos?

That's such a beautiful shot. A lot of people probably think of the hustle and bustle when they think of Toronto and it's nice to have peaceful images like this to show that there's more to Toronto than traffic and noise.

I wish I saw Toronto the same way you do. Amazing again.

oooh that's pretty! great job with the exposure.

Nice late afternoon shot. Good colours too - I find yours often too saturated for me, but these look more natural.

This shot reminds me of home in Michigan. I live in the southern US now and we don't get to see much snow.
